Mike Henle, a resident of Southern Nevada since November of 1966, has specialized in freelance writing for nearly 20 years. His work has included four stories in the real estate section of the New York Times.
He is also a former 21-year employee of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, where he worked as a sports writer and real estate editor. His work has included serving as a media relations liaison and director of marketing. He has spearheaded several special projects including the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Nevada Motor Sports Awards and Findlay Automotive Group’s Partners in Education program to benefit Child Haven in Southern Nevada. Freelance writing has included thousands of stories related to real estate, homebuilding, automotive and motor sports. He has also written four stories for the New York Times and has also been a correspondent for wire services. Henle also writes television and radio script and provides voice talent for both. He also helped with Senate Bill 100, which deals with homeowners associations and now allows residents to have rolling shutters. In addition, Henle is a public address announcer for Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
