     LAS VEGAS -- Nevada’s Quontez McRath earned a berth in the finals of the 152-pound class of the Golden Gloves National Tournament of Champions Friday with a decision victory over Reyes Marquez of Colorado-New Mexico at the LVH.
     McRath, 22, was the only member of Nevada to make the finals set for Saturday beginning at 7 p.m. He will face Samuel Velentin of Florida.
Adrian Servin, a 17-year-old Phoenix boxer and also a member of the Nevada contingent, lost to Christian Carto of Pennsylvania in his semi-final bout.
   Other winners Friday included Leroy Davila of New Jersey in 108; Mikhail Montgomery of Knoxville and Florida’s Antonio Vargas in 114; Gary Antonio Russell of Washington D.C. and Ruben Villa of California in 123; William Foster of New England and Maliek Montgomery of Knoxville in 132; Gary Antaunne Russell of Washington D.C. and Jaron Ennis of Pennsylvania in 141; Marquis Moore of Colorado-New Mexico and LeShawn Rodriguez of New York Metro in 165; Malcolm McAllister of California and Tory Williams of Mid-South in 178; DeRae Crane of Colorado-New Mexico and Shawndell Winter of Chicago in 201; and Cam Awesome of Kansas City and Jermaine Franklin Jr. of Michigan in Super Heavyweight.
